How Greek Life & Headquarters
Can Partner
1. Greek Life
can order a "good" and "lost" alumni list from the Alumni
Association/Foundation with name, address, phone, email,
spouse, title employer, graduation year, and major for each
chapter on campus. HQ's can mail an alumni list with name,
address, phone, email, spouse, title, employer, and initiation
year to every campus they are on. This exchange will lead
to a 25-50% improvement in data.
2. Greek Life and
HQ's can also exchange any of the following information
tracked: Campus/Fraternity award winners, Campus/Fraternity
Undergraduate Organization, and Campus/Fraternity Current
Volunteer Involvement.
3. The University
and HQ's can use alumni publication to insert
the following: "What Are You Doing" and "Volunteer Opportunities."
This will lead to greater advisor and house corporation
involvement.
4. Senior Send-Off
Program. The University and local chapter advisor
can attend a late in the semester meeting to get this information
sheet filled out by graduation seniors: name, their next
address, parent address, phone, email, employer, title,
and what brothers they will stay in contact with. You can
give the students an Alumni Club Directory (University)
and a Chapter/Alumni, Chapter/Advisor Directory. This should
encourage volunteer involvement. You might also consider
a senior gift to each of you.
5. HQ"S and Greek
Life can coordinate to host educational programs
on a state-wide to regionalized basis. This will increase
the number of individuals that receive your educational
programs because they don't have the time or dollars to
attend annual conventions. It will also lead to cost savings.
